The timeless city of Sidon, which goes back to 6,000 B.C. and has a historical core that covers 20 hectares, or 6.6 percent of metropolitan Sidon, is transformed into a vibrant, open museum.Museums in Sidon are looking for innovative ways to tackle contemporary social issues and conflict. They are helping the city reconcile with the various phases of its past.Under the umbrella of the Sidon Municipality, all stakeholders in the city were mobilized in three weeks and joined forces to implement a massive campaign of culture and social activities in Ramadan to revitalize the city's brand, social interaction and resilience to the current national and regional challenges.These activities represent the city's "brand".Sidon has chosen to organize activities that reinforce its brand as a historic, eventful and diverse city under the theme "Ramadan in Saida". Museums and heritage sites in the city have played an instrumental role in branding it, fueling its soft power and enhancing its urban economy based on its diverse social fabric.
